This historic Bozeman home was built in 1872 and was in dire need of renovation.
AFTER
Stamp and dyed concrete leads up to the cedar porch. The painted HardiPlank fiber cement siding resists rot and holds paint well. Marvin double hung windows on the first floor and awning windows on the second floor keep with the historic look. Substantial sized Marvin double hung windows allow in natural light. AACraftsman custom-made cherry buffet table with figured-maple drawers is a unique addition to the dining room.
Oak flooring and pine trim extend throughout the first floor. Extended counters provide extra workspace. The oil-rubbed bronze hardware is consistent with the old time style of the home. Pine doors blend with quarter-sawn oak floors to create a bright feel.
Kitchen desk nook is an efficient use of extra counter space. AACraftsman custom-built alder end table and cherry coffee table add charm to the living room.
The douglas fir bookcase and oak flooring make charming front entry. East-facing awning windows allow in morning light. Pine doors and trim, and white oak railing keep the upstairs bright.
Built-in shelves underneath staircase are an efficient use of dead space. The Douglas fir door and oil-rubbed bronze hardware provided by Emtek keep with the old style of the home. Plinth blocks and the parting bead above the door provide elegant touches to the entrance.
