AA Craftsman, Inc. provides a unique service that combines home-remodel consulting with custom craftsmanship. We are committed to making sure your remodel is a rewarding experience.
For almost ten years we have built our business on word-of-mouth referrals. Satisfied customers are our lifeblood. References are available upon request.
The president of the company, Art Albin, will personally ensure that your project costs and
timelines will be managed to your satisfaction. Equally important, AA Craftsman will coordinate all
of the logistics associated with your project, from working with architects to inspectors to
interior decorators. You dream it, we’ll achieve it.
We are proud to maintain our own workshop so that we can saw, sand, and stain your cabinets, trim, and custom furniture off site. To the extent possible your house will be free of loud noise, fine dust, and toxic fumes.
The word craftsman is part of who we are, as well as what we do. Cumulatively, the skilled tradesmen at AA Craftsman boast decades of expertise in everything from framing to finish work. Anyone can get a job done. At AA Craftsman we get it done right.
Our employees are our strength. We regularly attend continuing education workshops as a group and have weekly meetings where we talk about what’s new in residential remodeling and how we can continue to improve the service that we offer as a team. We also have an apprenticeship program in place, where we can work with new carpenters to ensure that the skills they learn early on are in keeping with our high level of craftsmanship.
Art Albin — Owner, Head Project Manager
Art began working on building projects with his brother when he was a teenager. His work as a carpenter
took him all over the country. Fly fishing is what lured Art to the Montana in 1995 and the community of
Bozeman is what made him stay. He is committed to constantly improving the service that he is able to
deliver as a residential remodeler. His goal as an employer is to foster a spirit of ownership among his
employees for every job they are commissioned to do by encouraging collaboration, extending trust, and
fully utilizing the skills of each member of his team.
Kiel Kovash — Lead Carpenter
Kiel was raised in Livingston and moved to Bozeman 7 years ago to pursue
his career in carpentry. As a Montana native, he grew up camping,
hunting and skiing. Kiel was inspired to pursue a career in carpentry by
his father, who mentored him as a young man. He enjoys working as a
residential remodeler because he is able to do a variety of tasks. It
brings him a sense of satisfaction and pride to restore what is old to
make it new and fresh. Kiel’s excellent workmanship has helped AA
Craftsman to be a company that is known for its attention to detail and
high standard of quality. His specialty is finish carpentry and creating
beautiful custom built-in cabinetry.
Ann Prescott — Bookkeeper
Ann was raised on a dairy farm in Clifton Springs, New York. She and her husband were drawn to the Rocky Mountain West 15 years ago. She and her family have lived in Idaho, Colorado and now Montana. The Gallatin Valley’s sense of community and the beautiful landscape is what she values most about the area. Ann began her career as a bookkeeper 10 years ago. She has been working for AA Craftsman for 1 year and continues to be impressed by the thorough and complete accounting system that is in place.
