The alder wood Dutch door with red painted wood trim opens into the living room. The open, bright kitchen is framed by post and beam work that extends into the dining room. The stainless steel exhaust hood creates a crisp, clean look. Wire-brushed oak floors extend throughout the house. Vertical-grain Douglass Fir window casing with crown molding allow natural light in, while low-voltage pendant and wire lights further brighten the space.
The extra space in the bedroom is used by a custom-made knotty alder dresser and desk. The dresser has lighted cubby holes and the desk has storage space to hide the computer hard drive The spacious basement has a custom-built Douglas fir vertical grain stair railing. Low-voltage can lights make the room bright. The southwest-facing windows made by Loewen allow light to flow into the spare bedroom.
The AACraftsman custom-made bed contains hidden storage space, including drawers beneath the bed and cabinets on either side with compartments. The elegant bathtub has stone mosaic tile and Hansgrohe fixtures. Its corner position conserves space. The surrounding windows face southwest and allow in natural light. The insert gas fireplace surrounded with soapstone from Finland, creates a romantic bedroom scene. The knotty alder entertainment center has pocket doors that tuck into the sides of the cabinet when open.
French doors in the bedroom face the Bridger Mountains and open onto a concrete patio with powder-coated railing. The southwest exterior door has painted red wood trim with a Rocky Mountain Hardware doorknob. The porch is made of cedar decking and a tongue and groove knotty pine soffit. The east-facing windows look out over the garden and allow in natural light. Surrounding the windows are painted cedar shakes.
The exterior of the house has red wood trim around the doors, windows, and wooden garage doors. The AACraftsman custom-made corner bench seat looks over the yard. The entertainment center and cubby holes provide storage space.
The dining room nook provides a bright, cozy spot to relax. Natural light fills the bathroom. Knotty alder cabinets and Tulikivi classic soapstone backsplash and vanity top create an earthy feel.
